Die Geister die einen Geiseln. Jeder versuch sie zu verbannen am Ende hoffnungslos. Irgendwo in den untiefen des Bewusstseins warten sie darauf durch die Spiegelglatte Oberfläche zu brechen. Die Geister die du rufst. Sie verschleiern Gedanken, bis das Denken gänzlich unmöglich wird. RUHMER erzählt uns in GHOSTS von seinen Geistern. Kaum auszumachen. Das weisse Laken über sie geworfen. Schemenhaft bleibt die Erinnerung einer Erinnerung zurück. Doch spricht man die magischen Worte so hallt es aus der Geisterwelt zurück - bis ins hier und jetzt.

RUHMER nimmt uns in GHOSTS mit auf eine Reise, die uns tief durch den Abgrund seiner Gefühlswelt führt. Doch so wie der Mond den Weg in einer tiefschwarzen Nacht erhellt, so schimmert das Licht durch den weissen Stoff. Initial als Teil der “Ring the Changes" EP gedacht, war es RUHMER wichtig diesem Song besondere Aufmerksamkeit und ganz besondere Zuneigung zu schenken. Nun aber erscheint die Single GHOSTS inklusive Musikvideo am 30.09.22 über das Label Töchtersöhne.

The ghosts that take us hostage. Every effort to ban them a hopeless act. Somewhere in the depths of his consciousness they are waiting to break through the surface. The spirits you call. RUHMER takes us with him on a journey deep through the abyss of his emotional world. But just like the moon lights our way on a pitch-black night, a warm glow shimmers through the white cloth. Initially GHOSTS was to be a part of the “Ring the Changes" EP but RUHMER wanted to give this song his special attention and a special place in time and space. Now GHOSTS will be released on the 30.09.22 via the label Töchtersöhne.
